Natasha
Let me tell you a little more about her. We adopted Natasha from the Anne Arundel County Maryland SPCA in April of 2000.
We know very little about her past other than a few details supplied by the SPCA. She was surrendered to the SPCA by her owner. The owner stated that they had 2 small children, lived in a townhouse in the Annapolis area and that Natasha suffered from separation anxiety. That's it, our entire knowledge of her first year.
Well, we can tell you that she does not suffer from separation anxiety. We can leave her alone for hours on end with NO damage to our home or furnishings. What Natasha does have is a very high drive, all German Shepherd Dogs do. That is what they are bred for, to work. If you are thinking about getting a dog, any dog I urge you to read about the breed you are interested in. Will the breed fit into your household?
When you decide to get a dog I recommend contacting a breed rescue for the breed you are interested in.
